THE REVEREND FEDRICK A. WILSON

 

Blending the heart of a pastor, the mind of a scholar, and the hands of a community builder, the Reverend Fedrick Allen Wilson stands as a passionate advocate for education, empowerment, and spiritual renewal. He serves as the pastor of Youngs Chapel AME Church in Irmo, SC.

A native of Nesmith (Williamsburg County), SC, he is the son of Mrs. Hester Nesmith Wilson and the late Reverend Moses J. Wilson. He is joyfully married to Mrs. Tenessa Bell Wilson, and together they are the proud parents of one daughter, Taylor Alena Wilson, and two sons, Timothy Allen and Trenton Andrew Wilson.

Pastor Wilson is a graduate of Hemingway High School and South Carolina State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Education in Counselor Education plus 30 hours. He attended Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC, and earned a Master of Divinity from Dickerson-Green Theological Seminary at Allen University in Columbia, SC. He has also completed the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification through Coastal Carolina University, the Together SC CEO Carolina Leadership Seminar Learning Cohort, and the York County Regional Chamber Foundation Non-Profit Management Certificate Program.

An ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Pastor Wilson has faithfully served congregations at Cedar Grove AME Church in Orangeburg, SC, Saint Luke AME Church in Eastover, SC, Live Oak AME Church in Vance, SC, and Historic Campbell Chapel AME Church in Bluffton, SC.

He is an engaged community leader, serving on numerous professional, fraternal, civic, nonprofit, and ecumenical boards and partnerships. He is a proud member of Saint Mark Lodge #374 (Prince Hall) and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

His professional background reflects a distinguished record of excellence and leadership across multiple sectors. As a United States Army Reserves Commissioned Officer, he developed the discipline, strategic thinking, and mission-focused leadership that continue to shape his pastoral and community work. His service as a Middle School Counselor demonstrated his commitment to the holistic development of young people, offering compassionate guidance, academic support, and social–emotional advocacy. In higher education, he excelled as a forward-thinking professional dedicated to student success, institutional advancement, and creating pathways of opportunity. As a nonprofit organizational leader, he has led teams, strengthened systems, expanded programs, and built community-centered initiatives with vision and integrity. Together, these experiences form a powerful foundation for his ministry and public leadership—equipping him to inspire, empower, and transform the communities he serves. Above all, Pastor Wilson loves God and people. As a faith leader and community advocate, he firmly believes that “service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”

 

Mrs. Tenessa B. Wilson

 
 

Mrs. Tenessa B. Wilson is the First Lady and an associate minister at Youngs Chapel AME Church in Irmo, South Carolina, where she serves with grace, vision, and a heart for God’s people. A native of Hemingway, SC, and current resident of Lexington, SC, she is the beloved daughter of Mr. Thomas & Mrs. Martha Bell. She is joyfully married to the Reverend Fedrick A. Wilson, and together they are the proud parents of three wonderful children—Taylor, Timothy, and Trenton.

A scholar and achiever, Tenessa graduated with honors from Hemingway High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Health & Fitness emphasis) from the University of South Carolina in 2005. She later completed her Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Strayer University in 2010. Currently, she is enrolled at Dickerson-Green Theological Seminary at Allen University pursuing the Master of Divinity Degree.

Professionally, she serves with distinction at the Veterans Benefits Administration in Columbia, SC, where she is committed to excellence, compassion, and transformational service to those who served our nation.

Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Tenessa is the Founder and President/CEO of T’s Legacy Group, LLC, a real estate solutions company dedicated to empowering individuals and families to achieve stability, security, and success through innovative housing solutions. Her leadership philosophy blends faith, integrity, and vision, positioning her as a rising leader in real estate, community empowerment, and faith-based entrepreneurship.

A woman of deep spiritual conviction, Tenessa accepted her call to the preaching ministry in 2014 and preached her initial sermon on January 31, 2015. She is passionate about evangelism, holistic ministry, and helping people discover and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
